Eoderoceras sp.
Eoderoceras is an ammonite with spines around it.
My favorite points are that it is pyritized to a brass color and that the spines remain. Its moderate size, about 80mm in diameter, is also a plus.
One side is processed flat, so it is stable when placed.
I saw this fossil while walking around the "22nd Stone Wonder Discovery Exhibition in Osaka" in the morning, which I attended to take the 8th grade Mineralogy Test, and it caught my eye...
After taking the test, I decided, "I really want to buy it." Since it was the last day of the exhibition, I got a discount from 20,000 JPY to 15,000 JPY.
