This is a Harpes from Morocco.
This individual is a specimen in a defensive posture, with the tip of its head brim raised upwards.

The countless crater patterns on the edge of the head are also clearly preserved. These craters (small holes) are thought to have been used to filter organic matter from the bottom sand. In other words, it was likely a filter feeder.
