Dino Alive '93 IN OSAKA
"DINO ALIVE '93" was held in 1993 at the former JR container yard site in Nishi-Umeda, Osaka. 40 restored models of 13 species and fossil specimens were exhibited. Popular species such as Stegosaurus and Allosaurus, Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops were all present.
Organized by Kansai Television Broadcasting, and supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Agency, the American Consulate General, Osaka Prefecture, Osaka City, Hyogo Prefecture, Sankei Shimbun, Gakken, etc.
An event supervised in 1993 by Yoshikazu Hasegawa, who was a professor at Yokohama National University and (as of 2018) is the director of the Gunma Museum of Natural History.
