"The Wondrous World Of Dinosaurs: Origin and Evolution ~Saurian Science" was held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba in the summer of 2004. A complete skeleton of "Microraptor gui," a dinosaur with feathers on all four limbs, was exhibited.

Additionally, two commemorative symposiums were held prior to the dinosaur expo.
